Founded in 2017, we serve people, communities, and organizations by exploring new connections, disruptive technologies, and innovative approaches.
OUR VISION
We see physical, financial, and mental barriers between emerging 21st century economies in East Africa and neighboring areas known solely as being intractable "pockets of instability." Tethered Up seeks to overcome these obstacles by serving as a trusted bridging agent in the region. We envision innovations that expand more rapidly through trust building; a cadre of successful entrepreneurs emerging from areas seen as entirely dependent on international assistance or "too risky" for investment; and more communities benefiting from better and more affordable products and services.
